This high-retention solution enables ergonomic installation with a locking pin that secures the part in place. Integrated barcode enables traceability and installation validation. Proper engagement to sheet metal is required for pin insertion and full functionality.
Part accepts a tie strap, can withstand 500N load in shear and tensile directions.
Barcode is setup on pin head to be unreadable in shipping position. After pin is inserted, pin head flattens making barcode readable.
Once part is in vehicle body, pin inserts to lock part in place under 45 N.
Reduction of assembly time up to 90%.
