The Drive-Thru Doghouse System is a design concept that enables more of ITW Automotive’s specialized solutions to be utilized to fasten components and panels very close to each other using a doghouse interface.
Fastening is focused between the components or panels being fastened to each other, while trying to keep those same panels positioned very closely to each other.
Fastener arrives pre-assembled on component, in its final position; fastener is hidden during installation.
The Drive-Thru Doghouse System uses a smaller-than-standard doghouse which can also pass through the vehicle panel allowing for a close-fitting, blind assembly installation without need of a local panel recess.
