Glovebox dampers are linear dampers that provide a premium, controlled opening behavior to vehicle gloveboxes. They can be configured to dampen the opening process in one direction, while they provide a freerun (no resistance) in the other.
Hinge dampers are rotary dampers that are mounted at the hinge-point and are designed to fit into small spaces. Typical applications are grab handles and center consoles in vehicles.
Large rotary dampers are suitable for applications that demand higher resistance and thus more torque due to their size and weight. Common applications in a vehicle include but are not limited to overhead compartments, middle armrests, door handles and gloveboxes.
