ITW GPDC (Global Product Development Center) was formed in 1997 for the
purpose of supporting 45 of ITW's automotive divisions worldwide with
product development. Our mission statement is "Meeting Unsatisfied
Customer Needs". We create unique, quick-response solutions to satisfy
customer requirements not being met by existing products.
GPDC's projects utilize manufacturing methods within ITW including plastic
injection molding, cold heading, stamping, deep drawing, insert molding,
etc. Specific areas of development are:

- 3. Plastic fasteners
- 4. Metal fasteners
