ITW CIP (California Industrial Products) specializes in the design and manufacturing of fasteners and related products. These consist primarily of specially designed, internally multi-threaded spring steel fasteners. While the majority of our products are supplied to the automotive industry, ITW CIP also supplies a variety of other industries including appliance, computer and farm machinery manufacturers.

Since 1951, ITW CIP Fasteners has established itself as a recognized name in the fastener industry. The products that we produce — at one of several facilities located in the United States and Europe — provide our customers with lightweight fastening options, with proof load and strength characteristics exceeding those of solid steel nuts. The manufacture of every ITW CIP Fastener product begins with the processing of hot band steel at our own Strip Steel Division. Performing the operations within the confines of CIP allows us to closely monitor and control manufacturing and quality. And our engineers work with you to meet exacting tolerances and parameters, whether your design calls for standard or customized parts.

ITW CIP Stampings has the capability of producing many unique and varied specialty stampings, which are included in a line-up of ITW standard fasteners and components totaling in excess of 5,000 products. Materials range from stainless steel to high carbon, alloy steel and various types of non-ferrous materials. These products typically involve close dimensional tolerances and are manufactured using unique tooling methods. Our stampings products conform to numerous military, industrial and automotive standards. You can find them securing fenders, bumpers, doors, strikers, wheels, grills, radiators, seats… and various other applications.
